A knowledge and collaboration platform connecting practitioners and researchers to mainstream the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) approach.
Project overview
The WEFE Hub is a purpose-built social and data platform designed to curate knowledge, generate projects, and provide decision support around the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems nexus. It serves as a central place to strengthen institutions by sharing evidence and enabling cross-sector analytics to shape policies across over 150 countries.

Project execution
Building this platform required a complex data-driven architecture. Using Laravel for a solid backend, I developed dynamic APIs to handle and process large datasets efficiently. The frontend utilized modern JavaScript frameworks to render complex data visualizations and interactive mapping tools.
I integrated the WEFE Nexus Index algorithm into the system, allowing users to perform real-time, interactive comparisons across different countries. Furthermore, I built robust community channels for discussion, peer exchange, and co-authoring to foster a thriving digital Community of Practice (CoP).
Project results
The WEFE Hub delivered a central, authoritative digital environment that successfully drives actionable insights for international policymakers and researchers.
